Martha Bartleson, CMLT - My Story

How Turn Back Time Started

On December 27, 1997 I was admitted to Chandler Hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis and pneumonia one year after being diagnosed with adult onset diabetes. Within hours, I went into septic shock and was placed on the ventilator. While on the vent, I developed blood clots that lead to dry gangrene. I awoke from the coma weeks later to a half dead forearm and hand.

I went through a long healing process and 18 surgeries over the next several years leaving me with a multitude of scar tissue. It was during this time, that I discovered the healing benefits of LED light therapy. LED changed my life forever! It softened my scar tissue and helped to heal the extensive nerve damage. In addition, it was extremely beneficial over many years as I slowly detoxed myself from the massive amounts of pain medications and began living my life again.

This led me to learning about IPL photofacial and skin rejuvenation which in turn became Turn Back Time Day Spa, LLC in 2008. This business opened with just one technician and has over the years grown immensely. In 2016, I opened up Turn Back Time Wellness Clinic, LLC with two partners who were long term clients and we added RF technology with ThermiSmooth™ skin tightening and body sculpting, ThermiVa™ vaginal rejuvenation and Vivace™ RF micro-needling.

In 2021, we were thrilled to add our Tetra™ CO2 skin resurfacing to our treatment options which gives us amazing results, including breaking up my scar tissue in my elbow giving me back 100% range of motion! I finally have found a treatment I can safely treat my muscle & skin grafts with!

We have an outstanding staff to meet our patients needs on every level including general practice medicine, medically supervised weight loss programs and injectables as well as restorative laser skin rejuvenation services with the latest technology available. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our community through compassionate care and personalized treatment plans.

Diane Bajus, CNP, CNM, PhD

Medical Director

I have been the Medical Director at Turn Back Time Spa & Wellness Clinic since 2010. I have dedicated my career to women's health and wellness with a focus on natural healing. The opportunity to assist women with antiaging treatments that encompass natural healing is the most rewarding and gratifying experience.

My Passion

I am passionate about natural healing as a certified herbalist, I offer a complete line of my own salves and teas.

I practice the "art" of facial injectables with Botox® and dermal fillers, PRP, and Prohilio™ . In addition, I offer IV therapy, medically supervised weight loss programs, women's wellness exams and hormone therapy. I also provide WIQO Peels, Oxygen Facials and DermaPen™ micro-needling.

Mikaela Fontana, LE, CMLT

Office Manager

I started working at Turn Back Time Spa & Wellness Clinic in 2020 as an aesthetician and laser technician. Additionally, I am also our office manager and handle the day to day operations. Whether it be performing skin services or front desk duties, I love working with our clients to provide the best experience possible!

I graduated from Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics (SWINA) as a Medical Aesthetician, Certified Medical Laser Technician, and a Laser Safety Officer in 2018.

Since graduating I have been certified in a number of laser machines including but not limited to ThermiSmooth ™ RF Skin Tightening and Body Contouring, Vivace ™ Fractional Micro-Needling, IPL Photofacial, and Tetra ™ CO2 CoolPeel Skin Resurfacing.

My Passion

I am originally from Tucson, Arizona and moved to the Valley in 2018 to pursue my dream of becoming a skincare expert. I enjoy building long lasting relationships with my clients and educating them on available service options. Using medical grade products, treatments, and technology I am able to help them achieve their skincare goals!

Elissa Meyer, LE, CLT

Aesthetician and Laser Technician

I am a licensed aesthetician and laser technician with licenses from the School of Botanic and Medical Aesthetics in Colorado and National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. I joined the team here at Turn Back Time Spa and Wellness in early 2026.

I am certified and experienced in Vivace ™ RF Micro-Needling, Tetra ™ CO2 CoolPeel Skin Resurfacing, and NouvaDerm ™ Thelium Laser Resurfacing in addition to customized facials, our Aquafirme XS hydrating facial, and micro-needling.

I am passionate about working with clients to help them feel confident in their own skin. I believe in taking a customized approach to each client and building relationships to achieve long-term results together.
