How THERMIsmooth™ Works

ThermiRF™ computer automatically adjusts the energy output.

The thermistors have temperature sensors that give a constant reading to the computer to ensure maintaining the exact temperature.

There is no under or overheating of skin or soft tissue for even results.

We set the Thermi™ computer at 45 degrees Celsius to reach that therapeutic range to shrink tissue.

A small zone is treated no larger than 6x the size of the thermistor for about 5 to 15 minutes to achieve the goal of sustained heating of the target tissues.

It is generally described as feeling like a warm massage.

For body contouring or sculpting we use the larger thermistors such as the 70, 80 & 100 mm discs. The larger the disc the deeper it penetrates into the adipose layer of fat. For larger areas that require more sculpting these will smooth out cellulite, melt fat while tightening skin.

How Many Treatments are Needed?

Typically, we recommend 5 treatments about 2 to 3 weeks apart. It does take several treatments in order to obtain the tightening effect that is desired. For loss of fatty tissue a diet and exercise program is required. Make sure you are hydrating both before and following the procedure. It is also recommended that IV Therapy can aid in "flushing" the fat from the body post treatment.

Who is a Candidate?

THERMIsmooth® is suitable for both men and women of all ages. TheTHERMI250™ is not recommended for patients with implantable devices, such as but not limited to pacemakers, defibrillators, and Cochlear ear implants. Radio frequency can disrupt such devices operation and potentially cause them to not work properly.
